Dreamworld Awakening - Emissary

Granted the title of Emissary, Merrick is a veteran of the Royal Knights, the former highest ranked elite Paladin who was instrumental in taking down the former corrupt king. Although his wounds have long since healed, his psyche is said to be damaged, and he is no longer allowed to partake in missions, instead training the recruits. Once a recruit has completed basic training, they are trained one on one by a veteran Knight, although no one who has trained under Merrick has ever successfully completed his strict regime. Lomeli would later train under him, becoming the first to pass. Merrick knows better than anyone else what it takes to be a Royal Knight, having lost all his comrades in the great war that ended with him taking out the former king. He has essentially mastered all forms of magic. Once Jenae invaded, he became a freedom fighter, returning to combat against a new evil tyrant. He also possess the All Seeing Eye.
After the defeat of Jenae, the kingdom is reformed into a democracy. Now at peace, Merrick is entered into the elections to be one of the leaders of the new country. As one of the seven members of The Prime, Merrick now oversees the entire military.
Best Magic - Mastered all forms of Magic
Signature Techniques - All Seeing Eye - Grants cosmic awareness, turning the eyes an electric blue and gaining the ability to see in 360 degrees with enhanced vision. All Seeing Eye is a great trump card to pull against Purple Magic, the Magic of Deception, as it pierces through illusions. 
Phalanx Blade - Red type magic that forms a powerful energy blade on the hands capable of piercing through even the toughest armor. Merrick has mastered the ability and is able to use it on both hands simultaneously.
Binary Star - Red type magic using his trusted Lancer to attack his enemy while he charges the main event, a piercing shot with the explosive power of a nuclear reactor.
The Lancer - A weapon specially designed for use by the Royal Knights, Lancers have two modes, a firearm mode that focuses magical blasts, increasing range and power, and a sword mode for physical combat. Merrick's Lancer is instrumental in his use of his ultimate technique - the Binary Star.
